Jose Jackson Dip. counsellor

Approach

I trained as a Person Centred Counsellor and within that remit I also introduce other therapies to the requirement of the individual. I have also trained in Bereavement Counselling and hold a cert. in Transactional Analysis.

Experience

I am the Proprietor of Keystone TSS an organisation I began after qualifying as a counsellor.

I have a great deal of experience working primarily as a Primary Care Counsellor working with young people with varying issues from bullying, abuse, anxiety, addiction, eating disorders, self harm, bereavement and loss. etc.

I am currently also involved in a local charity and I am on the Management Committee, this is also a Counselling organisation.

Confidentiality

I offer a safe, secure, and confidential environment in which my clients can explore their issues, work through their difficulties, come to terms with the past, live comfortably in the present, and make their own decisions about their future.

Breaking of confidentiality will only be breached in exceptional circumstances where as a counsellor; there are good grounds to believe that the client is at serious risk of causing harm to him/herself or others, or that children are at serious risk.

Good Working Practices

I work with clients on a one-to -one basis, or with couples as may be required. The number of sessions for therapy is determined by the clients needs and may be short term or long term as appropriate. I am fully insured and practice within the guidelines laid down by the B.A.C.P. code of conduct and ethics. In addition to this I receive regular ongoing supervision.
